I’ve been posting daily on TikTok for ~2 weeks. I started at arguably the worst time ever (outages, algorithm change, etc) but alas!
A few things I’ve learned:
It seems like having a niche helps build an audience. I played around on TikTok a few years ago and garnered over 100k likes but only ~150 followers. Since I’ve been back, I’ve added another 100 followers in just a few weeks.
Everyone says lighting is important but that hasn’t been my experience. I posted a shitty video talking to camera while walking around my kitchen at night (horrible nighting!) and it got over 2,500 views.
Content about freelancing (and making $$$) seems to outperform everything else.
