I don’t think we should throw the boss babe mindset out entirely with the bath water even though it’s become the trendy thing to do.

I very much look and act like a tradwife: I homeschool my 4 children, I cook from scratch, and I love linen dresses.

But I also run an online business that has not only helped moms on 6 continents, it was a financial life raft for my family for many years. It allowed my husband to quit a toxic job and spend time with the kids for a few years while he pursued a career pivot. If I hadn’t boss babe’d it up there for a bit we would’ve been in a much more difficult position.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that the online world trends all or nothing. Black and white. You’re in or you’re out.

When in reality, sometimes you need a little boss babe attitude in your life. Sometimes you need more sourdough and chickens. More babies and more in your bank account.

Because at the end of the day you don’t actually need to choose between the two, but find what works for you and your family.
