Back then, it was Realtimeboard. No proper portfolio, a small city, just a Dribbble profile.

When they asked me to design a marketplace, I didn’t even know what a marketplace was. I was ready to reply: “I’m not ready yet.”

My boyfriend (now husband) convinced me to try. I spent the weekend researching and put together a deck in Google Slides.

I sent it, expecting nothing — and got invited to an interview with ten people in the room.

They didn’t hire me for perfect execution, but for how I thought about design, UX, and business.

Two days later, on my birthday, I got the offer. When it feels scary to jump, it usually means you should.
