If Jesus’ own teachings define righteousness as humility, mercy, peacemaking, and refusing domination (Matthew 5), then it’s worth asking: what foundation is Fundamentalism actually built on when its core doctrines and behaviors contradict those traits? That’s not an argument — it’s an honest question about spiritual alignment. If a system consistently produces the opposite of what Jesus taught, then something upstream in the foundation is shaping it. And when you look at the fruits of Fundamentalism — certainty, dominance, boundary‑policing, judgment, exclusion, hierarchy, purity codes, power over others, public displays of righteousness, and fear‑based obedience — the result is predictable: measurable trauma, chronic anxiety, depression, CPTSD, etc., and a disproportionate impact on neurodivergent people. The fruit reveals the root (Matthew 7).
