I decided to quit my MA program for English/Creative Writing and switch to an MS in Marketing (I have an MBA w/out a concentration). The MA program made me realize that I do not want to teach writing. I love to write, and I do that here. Being a writing instructor is not in the cards for me. Teaching Comms to undergrads—yes. The MA program is fine, and I had a year under my belt with a 4.0, but I started feeling less interested as the weeks went on this year. So, off to get a Masters in Marketing I go. It’ll serve me better.
