There is nothing new in Trump's words. He has said all of this before, but perhaps not so directly. But it's amazing how Trump mistakes sweet talk from dictators for the actual foreign policy of those countries

It could be that Xi of China isn't as good at flattering the Toddler in Chief as Kim Jong Un and Putin are. Xi just might have too much dignity to be good at that job.
