Folks. Look, I know it’s not good business to moan and we’re supposed to be all bubbly and grateful and so on. And I am. I love writing my Substack and I get a little kick every time someones reads a post or cooks a recipe or watches a video.

But.

I’m doing more here than ever before. More videos. More recipes. More access. More engagement.

And I’m losing subscribers. I just lost my bestseller badge.

I know I shouldn’t take it to heart, but some days it’s hard not to. I figure it can’t just be me in this situation (please god!) and so I’m being unfashionably honest in the hope of finding someone to commiserate with, which would at least be something positive.

In the meantime, if anyone has some fairy dust (or failing that, a video of a cute dog), could they send it now please.
