I’ve worn glasses since I was ten years old. I’ve battled over the years with loving and hating them. From my very first NHS specs, right through to my favourite Gucci sunglasses. Over the years I’ve been both teased and adored in equal measure.

During my forties I feel like I finally came to love them. They are part of what makes me, me. They are an extension of me.

One of my biggest fears in life is losing my sight. Not being able to see the people I love, read books, write, or watch films fills me with dread. Since my brother died I don’t take anything for granted. So, today I am taking a moment to give thanks for my glorious new gigs 🤓
