My neurology nurse specialist, who does my Botox, answers all my questions and concerns about my complex migraines, is leaving the NHS. She won’t be there when I get my next injections.

I felt quite emotional and asked if I could give her a hug.

So excited for her plans, but she has been one of the absolute best healthcare specialists I have had involved in my care. I’ll miss her.

The NHS can’t keep these incredible, invaluable workers because there is no chance of advancement, no pay increases and little reason to stay.
