You'll get no anger from me. You are absolutely right to bring this up now, and also in the context of Corey Booker's "speech." He inspired folks, made them hope, and perhaps instilled courage, but without full disclosure, yea, no. He took 25 hours, and didn't mention Gaza (I did not watch the entire thing, only a few bits of it here and there)? Shame on him. The thing that was odd to me about his speech was that his face did not seem to match the sentiment behind what he was saying. I'll bet he was being haunted by those whose lives meant nothing to the war machine which we have been so very much apart of all along. Good. Guilt can serve if we poke at it with curiosity.
