I don’t know what “pro Ozempic” means. Would that be similar to being “pro Lisinopril?”
It is one of the drugs in a doctor’s toolbox to solve a certain problem, just as Lisinopril or Simvastatin or any of thousands of other drugs are. It’s not a cure-all (as Ivermectin is claimed to be), and I don’t worship it as some people worship Ivermectin.
It’s a miracle drug that is the latest and most effective of the GLP-1 agonists, the first one of which was discovered by John Eng in Gila Monster venom. This became exenatide aka Byetta.
It is not for everyone. None of the GLP-1 agonists are for everyone. You use it under the care and careful monitoring of a qualified doctor, preferably an endocrinologist.
Cardiologists also love the stuff, because it has a proven track record of reducing heart attack risk. But - you don’t take it for that. You take it for diabetes that isn’t responding to older treatments.
I hope this answers your question.
