I think we need to give ourselves, both individually and as a society, more room to explore this and learn as we go.
Too many people are in a rush to declare how AI will end, what it will become, or what all the outcomes will be, even though this is still unfolding beneath our feet in real time.
We are still in what I like to call the nuclear washing machine phase of AI, the stage where people feel compelled to apply it to everything at once.
I suspect this impulse is temporary. In time, it will pass and give way to something more mature.
