This diversity nonsense is the precise reason why, when we moved back up here from Brazil years after my kids were born, I made damn sure that their school identified them as Latina or if the only other option was Hispanic, then yeah...they were that. If Elizabeth Warren can be celebrated for being Native American, my Brazilian-born and raised kids to a Brazilian mom can be Latina (never LatinX. My kids aren't that ridiculous.) All of this corporate diversity stuff is a cover. You are right Bari. Keep calling them out. It's like the memes you see of drones dropping bombs painted in rainbow colors.
