💥 The first people commissioned to share the resurrection were women.
In a 1st-century culture that didn't count women's testimony as valid in a court of law.
God's MVP witnesses were the people the culture deemed unqualified.
Mary Magdalene, a woman with a complicated past, became the first evangelist of the resurrection.
"Go and tell."
She wasn't trained. She wasn't titled. She wasn't expected.
She was just there.
Present.
Weeping.
Faithful.
And Jesus met her in that moment and sent her.
This keeps wrecking me, because God keeps picking the people the institution wouldn't pick.
The fishermen.
The tax collectors.
The women at the tomb.
You don't need the right credentials to carry resurrection news.
🏃♂️🏃🏻♀️You just need to be willing to go and tell.
Who in your life has been told, by the culture, by the church, by their own internal critic, that they don't qualify?
They might be exactly who God is about to send.
