I muted all the writers who do political commentary on Trump as if the US is the only country on Earth.

They write about the US as if the world is ending because of a crazy US president. No, the world is not ending, with or without the US. These writers don’t even acknowledge that this craziness is harming people around the world who have close tight with the US.

US-centric political commentary is as selfish and as bad as what the crazy US president is doing right now. I don’t need more of that.

I am grateful to read about Turkish painting, Hong Kong and Shang Hai poetry, Russian literature, Thai movies, Iranian and Syrian music. I need more narrative of everyone else except the US centric narrative.
