The app for independent voices

This is seriously my experience 100%. I like the name "potato day" -- I can see how that makes sense and it's very true that we need to be open to them and their unpredictability, and give ourselves the self-compassion instead of judgment to meet them in the moment when they show up. It doesn't make us bad or wrong, it's just a part of our experiences to recognize, acknowledge, and ultimately appreciate as the opportunity for rest and rejuvenation that they are. That doesn't happen when we beat ourselves up internally for this thing we can't really control. I'm coming off a week of what I guess I could call potato time, and feeling more alive and energized today means that those low energy days weren't for nothing, and they don't last forever. 😊
