Help me out:

Fascism, genocide, environmental destruction, escalating violence is here, and I believe we’re beyond the point of academic debates about what we call our future, we just need to start building.

However, I acknowledge it is helpful to have a name/big idea to work towards. I’m going with matriarchy (see my article Reclaiming the M-Word for a primer), but it’s triggering to many.

I do believe that any other name for an alternative future that isn’t patriarchal-capitalism would get the same triggered reaction from those who are resistant to change.

Personally, I’m a fan of calling it Punk Mother Land (a blend of matriarchal values, earth centring, and the harnessing of technologies for good), but that’d probably tigger people too 🤷‍♀️
