Make money doing the work you believe in

Dear Substack,

I’m looking for the people who think in systems before they think in words.

The ones who arrived at similar insights as scientists, but from completely different directions. Not through institutions first, but through pattern recognition. Through intuition sharpened by observation. Through living inside complexity instead of isolating it.

Science is extraordinary. But historically, it has been built to zoom in: to isolate, reduce, measure, identify the single mechanism.

What it struggles with is emergence. The thing that appears between parts. The lichen that is neither fungus nor algae alone. The intelligence that exists in relationship, not in isolation.

There are minds out there, often unaffiliated, interdisciplinary, who naturally think this way.

Science doesn’t need less rigor. But it may need more connective tissue. More people who can hold the whole without losing the detail.

Not instead of researchers. As the mycelium between them.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to find you.
