It's hard to think of an action more damaging to American greatness, or insulting to American freedom, than cutting off cancer research to punish a university for failing to align politically with the current government.
(What feels like an) unpopular opinion: There is so much more to aging than weighted vests, magnesium, and a hundred grams of protein.
There is contentment in finally realizing who (and what) brings you peace. There is bravery in being okay with walking away from what no longer serves you. There is the acknowledgement that we bring enough to the table, just as we are - No faking or forcing required.

As an adoptee I've had to learn that one's worth is not a currency to be bartered for belonging.
You are not on Earth to be everybody’s savior, secretary, sounding board, therapist, mama, mule, or messiah.
You are not a bottomless well of “strength” for people to sip from when they’re thirsty and then walk away when they’re full. Your worth is not in your labor, your silence, your forgiveness, your caretaking, your ability to bend without breaking, or your capacity to carry what no one …

We launched one of the biggest operations deep into Russia. Dozens of successful strikes. Some targets were 4,000 kilometers away.

A Russian mother screaming in the dust?
A Russian child buried in bricks?
No. Because we don’t hit civilians.

There are grackles nesting in the soffit above my desk and these robins are getting ready to fly the coop that rests upon a leaning ladder in the rear of @milliondollargarage. I’m glad I didn’t put the ladder away last fall. Be not conformed…unless to nature.
I love Skims, but I was shocked that they're now doing skiwear. Going outside their core product offering (underwear, shapewear), I feel like they're moving towards brand dilution. Ski wear, to me, is quite a jump outside the lines. But maybe it's just me that feels that?
I see what you’re saying. It might be brand dilution or its brand expansion—a delicate balance. Since it’s collaboration I think it’s more of the latter. Had they come out with ski on their own, without the category credibility of The NorthFace that would be totally different. Why I think it’s interesting is that ski is anything but shapely and that’s a major gripe for a lot of people I know so if they can give the category something it doesn’t have a lot of and the product is good quality it m…
