There's actually a famous scene where he's buried under rubble. Completely alone. No one coming to save him. And he lifts it anyway.

That scene lives in my head every time I talk to Substack writers who are about to quit. The ones who quit always do it at the same moment. Right before the turn.

The rubble feels heaviest right before you find out what you're made of. You're stuck because you're this close and nobody told you that the weight is supposed to feel this heavy right here.
