Enjoy being BORED. This is what I also tell my kids all the time… they are 2 and 5 but.. well
My 28 year old daughter just Facetimed me and declared, “I’m bored.” Her husband had taken her car, so she felt a little stuck at home.
“Oh my gosh, congratulations! Enjoy it!” I said.
She stared at me for a second before laughing, “Yeah, you’re right. This is good.”
It IS good. It’s rare and lovely to be bored, to just sit, in this world that cherishes productivity and busy-ness.
