A tradition we started in our family I think everyone should try: When one of us has a birthday we do a family movie night where the birthday honoree picks the movie. Any movie. A movie they love, a movie they’re curious about, a funny movie, a scary movie - anything. Then we all watch it together. No phones, full attention.
