The Thoth Tarot has required an even longer sitting—more looking, more reading, more time held in suspension between image, comparison and understanding—than any deck we have encountered thus far.

Our study of it as part of The Art of Tarot series concludes: The Minor Arcana and Court cards do not merely expand the deck—they test it. Here, the language established in the Major Arcana is carried into repetition, variation and application.
