Here is the truth: many galleries are actively looking for artists. Publications need content. Opportunities exist because someone is waiting to fill them. Your job is simply to show up as the right fit, and you genuinely cannot do that from the sidelines. Self-belief has to come before the pitch, not after you get a yes.
