I have Peter Banks pegged as a political theorist of the post-Christian right. That puts him in some bad company, like Adolf Hitler, and some good company, like Milton Friedman. To resist leftism without grounding it in Christianity can lead a lot of different ways. For now, he’s ideologically fluid, neither an adherent of existing systems nor a full-fledged systematizer in his own right. I’m very intrigued to see what he’ll end up believing.
