Make money doing the work you believe in

I've written 270+ posts on this Substack about doing less.

About slow business. About protecting a daily rhythm and letting it compound. About refusing the hustle culture playbook.

This week I want to write about the opposite.

I just got back from a five-day reset. Solo drive there, three days with a small group of entrepreneurs at an Airbnb, quiet drive home. I came back a different person than the one who left.

Daily rhythm built my business. I'm not walking that back. But disrupting that rhythm on purpose, on a schedule, is what's going to keep it alive long enough to matter.

Both things are true at the same time. The work compounds because of consistency. The consistency stays honest because of the disruption.

Most of us are good at one of these. Almost no one I know is good at both.
