I’m still cautious about how quickly I think AI will disrupt fields outside of software (mostly due to people being set in their ways and hard to dislodge), but today was my first day using Opus within Claude Code hooked up to my organizational context via MCP and my takeaway is that 80% of current dev jobs are toast within two years. It’s astonishingly good.
