The last article I wrote “An African-Centered/Black Socialist Look at the European State as it Shows Itself Through the 501-C-3 System” is a bit long, with a long clunky title, but I like the article and want to help with access to it, so I broke the first part up with images and if folks like it will follow up with the other parts.

This is on Cheikh Anta Diop’s very constructive critique of Karl Marx’s thought partner, Friedrich Engels’ work “The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State.” It also touches on how Diop is a great bridge btw Marxism and Cedric Robinson’s “Black Marxism: The Making of the Black Radical Tradition.”

All of this sets up why “the nonprofit industrial complex” is not the best name for that system and not even the best name in “The Revolution Will Not Be Funded,” which popularized it. Link in bio.
