Some photos of the monumental textile works by Sheila Hicks now on view at Demisch Denant, in their COMMISSIONS show, all commissioned by Warren Platner for the interior he was designing of the MGIC Plaza headquarters in Milwaukee, 1973. “La Vie en Rose” is a pair of relief sculptures (8.5’ x 18’) that were originally located in a fourth floor meeting room (called “The Pink Room,” unsurprisingly). What a dream!
