The best way to gain an audience these days is to identify with the opposites. Polarization. Black-and-white thinking. Dehumanizing one side and elevating the other. Nuance is boring. It doesn’t perform well for the algorithm. It doesn’t enrage enough.

But in real life, people are complex. They live lives of paradox. Of both and. Hence, why social media is becoming exhausting for most people. It doesn’t reflect reality.

I predict the culture wars will end not because one sides narrative will win the popularity contest, but because most normal people will become so exhausted they will start having different conversations. Ones that humanize before demonizing. And start prioritizing real human connection over tribalism. One conversation, one person, one human interaction, at a time.
