This is a short story about creativity. Three years ago, my daughter told me 72 hours before Halloween that she was part of a group costume in which each girl would be a (Disney) Pooh character, sporting the Disney T-shirt with a color coordinated tutu. I found the tutu, but the T-shirt was impossible. So I bought a plain yellow shirt and some black velvet at a craft store and made this. Flash forward to today: I got it framed and my daughter, who not-so-secretly hated being “different” on Halloween loves it and wants to hang it in her room. I actually have very little artistic/crafty ability, but I can decoupage and I’m pretty good at cutting out symmetrical shapes.
