Which is the point of Friday’s consumer boycott. One day is just a trial balloon, but it’s a start. I see a wider boycott/strike as the only strength we have; so far we can’t be imprisoned for not shopping.

And I hope people make it an absolute consumer boycott. In typical liberal fashion, some are urging a carve out for small businesses. That defeats the purpose! And that’s what us liberals are fairly good at; bringing a snuggle blanket to a fight for survival. There will be pain either way; choose passive pain or active resistance pain.
