We live in two realities. Two people can watch the same video and come to conclusions that are antithetical to one another. I try to be open to the possibility that there are things I didn’t see to understand the other side of this debate. However, the evidence is growing exponentially indicating ICE is the personal army of Trump and his regime.

- A 17 year old American citizen is arrested from a Target, taken into a van, beaten, and thrown out of the van minutes later. He is surrounded by people on the street asking if he is okay. He cries, “I’m not okay!”. The cry is that of a child, broken, scared. The kind of cry that you hear where your instinct as a mother is to hold him close, comfort him, protect him.

- A woman is dragged into a port-a-potty with an ICE agent. The agent closes the door behind him.

- A young man, an American citizen, is shot in the face with a rubber bullet and is left permanently blinded in one eye.

- A 6 month old is hospitalized due to tear gas exposure. The father was not a protester.

- A man is shot in the leg.

- Battering rams are used to invade multiple homes at random with guns drawn. Many homes are occupied by children.

- A man driving to church is harassed and threatened the day Renee Good is murdered. The agent says, “Don’t you see what just happened?”

- An autistic woman with a traumatic brain injury is driving to a doctor’s appointment, she is stopped, her window shattered, her seatbelt cut, and is thrown to the ground. She is detained where she was denied medical care. She is an American citizen.

- A woman is parked perpendicular on the street. She waves cars through. She is descended upon by three men in masks. She says, “It’s okay dude, I’m not mad at you.” Her wife chides the officers. One tries to open her locked door, another is in front of her car, another is at her window. As the officers are coming at her she cries out in terror, “I’m not mad at you!”

She turns her wheels to clear the agent who is standing in front of her car as he switches the hand he is holding his cell phone to record the encounter to unholster his gun. She swipes his body with her car. He shoots her 3 times in her face and body. As her dead body accelerates her car, crashing into parked cars. The officer sneers, “F****** B****”. The officer shoos the person recording away with no sign of injury. His head is held high, “Call 911.”

She is denied medical care by a physician begging to check her pulse. The paramedics carry her body by her limbs and perform CPR far from the scene.

She is deemed a “domestic terrorist”. Rightwing State TV describes her as, “A lesbian with pronouns in her bio. A left-wing lunatic”

This is not immigration enforcement. This is terrorism.

You cannot terrorize a city and escalate tensions at every turn, without the expectation of the people fighting back.

Supporting this is supremely reprehensible. It’s mindboggling. It’s disgusting. I’ll say it again, it is sociopathic and sadistic. No law enforcement officer should be given “absolute immunity”.

I’m enraged.

Every American should be enraged.
