Ciao from the land of Lucy and Beatrice!

I recently arrived home after a thoroughly delicious trip to Italy. I visited the regions featured in My Year with Lucy and Beatrice: the island of Capri, the Almalfi coast, and the city of Florence.

When I was 15, I began collecting vintage travel posters of these regions. They pulled at my heart. This deep connection to the land inspired the setting for my book.

My Year with Lucy and Beatrice is a sparkling love story, and a sensual feast.

It’s also a spiritual roadmap healing, especially for those who’ve experienced painful childhoods.

Beatrice is a stoic mystic who left her war-torn country to carry on her brother’s mission. Lucy is an intoxicatingly glamorous ex-Broadway star who escaped a religious cult as a teenager.

Their story transcends time and space, and offers a provocative exploration of the depths of love.

I have described this book as my first novella, and categorized it as fiction. Yet I’ve been asked by readers, “Is any of this a true story?

Yes. In fact, dear reader, the story is as true as you wish it to be.

The most common feedback I hear about the book is that reading it was a healing experience.

A delicious, sensual, and joyful form of healing.

Are you ready for that kind of healing?

Then dive into the enchanting world of Lucy and Beatrice.
