Spring Refresh: The Creative Unearthing
Why I'm "weeding" my mental and digital drafts
Spring is the ultimate stage for a reset. As a minimalist, my physical shelves are already clear, so this season my focus turns inward—toward cultivating the mental clarity where creativity actually thrives.
There’s an invigorating sense of renewal in the air. It reminds me of bulbs planted so long ago I’d forgotten their names. Now, as their green noses finally push through the soil, I’m discovering something unexpected — and utterly delightful.
In this spring refresh, I’m clearing the "winter weight" from my writing practice. I’m letting go of the stagnant drafts cluttering my mind and hard drive. By letting them go, I’m making space for new growth, new energy, and new creative possibilities. As the world outside begins to bloom, I’m inviting my own words and ideas to do the same.
What 'green noses' are starting to poke through the soil of your creative practice right now? I'd love to hear what you're cultivating.
