I treat my writing time with the same gravity as a professional appointment. Just as I wouldn’t ghost my doctor or walk out on a dentist, I refuse to flake on the meeting between me and my laptop.

By making this time non-negotiable, I eliminate the "should I or shouldn't I" mental fatigue.

By making it non-interruptible, I'm essentially building the scaffolding necessary for my creativity to climb.

These boundaries provide the sturdy, external structure that supports deep focus. When the world is locked out and the framework is secure, the door to productive flow opens, allowing me to reach heights that wouldn't be possible otherwise.
