DEATH CAN WAIT, THIS PARAGRAPH CAN'T
A Love Letter to Consistency, Stubbornness, and Finishing the Damn Draft
My writing superpower is consistency. Like the sunrise, the sunset, and ever-persistent student loan reminders, I show up to do the work in a reliable, repeated pattern.
I don't wait for inspiration. Inspiration is that flaky friend who swears they'll meet you for brunch, then ghosts you while posting selfies from a pottery class. I prefer tenacity.
If the Grim Reaper shows up while I'm typing, he's going to have to take a number. I'll happily throw down the angel of death so I can finish my train of thought and hit publish.
He can take my soul, but he can't take my draft.
