THE SIDE CHARACTER WHO STOLE THE SHOW

Meet Cynthia Winters: Forensic Intuitive, Palm Reader, and Former Ballerina Dancing Through the Pages of the Sean McPherson Series

If you've read Impervious (Book 3), you already know exactly who I'm talking about: Cynthia Winters. From her very first introduction, she leaps off the page. I still love the way she enters the series:

"Cynthia’s stiletto heels clicked loudly on the tiled floor like the staccato burst of machine gun fire."

It's no secret that I, along with so many of you, absolutely adore her. She was originally meant to be a side character, but her presence is so magnetic that she keeps making cameo appearances in the series.

To give you a glimpse into why she's so special, I've opened up my Character Bible to share a few secrets about this fascinating person:

The Sacred Gift: When Cynthia first realized she was "different" from her childhood friends, her mother grounded her with a beautiful piece of wisdom from Albert Einstein:

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”

The Look: She's tall, slender, and "seasoned," sporting a striking gamine crop of snow-white hair that frames her face like an elfin cap. Her style is pure bohemian chic.

The Backstory: Hailing from Tucson, Arizona, Cynthia's a former ballet dancer. Today, she uses her unique gifts to consult with law enforcement agencies, translating the unseen world for a rigid, rational society.

The Vulnerability: Cynthia isn't invincible. The intense stress and dehydration of her forensic work frequently trigger agonizing cluster headaches.

The Future: She's currently single, fiercely independent, and busy working on her own book: Guide Lines: The World in the Palm of Your Hands.

Have you met Cynthia in one of the Sean McPherson novels?
