Sitting in bed watching Bigfoot documentaries and theories. Started watching them as just sort of mindless background noise I didn't need to focus on.

But now… I'm intrigued and Mom was usually the one I had these weird conversations with. Like the 1967 Patty footage… she would have been young when it happened and it makes me wonder if she heard about it when it came out? She also grew up in British Columbia.

Sigh. I already miss our strange, deep, and contemplative conversations. Never did meet someone else I could have those with. I inherited her keen curiosity, love of the bizarre, and intrigue of the unknown. Definitely feeling the lack of (offline) friends in my life right now. Sometimes it really is just the small things you miss the most.
