No matter how much I make, I’m still super intentional with where my money goes.
Just because you CAN spend doesn’t mean you should.
And maybe it’s a little woo, but I treat money like a relationship - if you respect it, it respects you back.
Everything I spend on has to pass the value-to-pleasure test. Does this actually make my life better? More peaceful? More me? (Think: first class flights so I land well-rested.)
I skip anything that feels performative, wasteful, or rooted in trying to prove something. I don’t buy things just because they’re expensive - I buy them because they make my life better.
That’s the real flex. 💸🌴🧖♀️
