These are the best plans in London this week!
Today I’ll take the chance to tell you a story about how I started creating this newsletter about things to do in London.
Well, it all began quite by accident. Back then, I was constantly on the hunt for interesting things to do in London – quirky exhibitions, little-known pubs, hidden gardens, that sort of thing. Friends would often ask me, “How on earth do you find these places?” and I’d end up writing long messages with tips and recommendations.
One day it struck me: why not turn those messages into something more organised, something everyone could enjoy without having to ask me directly? That’s how the idea for this newsletter was born.
At first, I thought it would just be a small project for a few friends, but then word started spreading. People I didn’t even know began subscribing, replying, and sharing their own discoveries. Suddenly, it wasn’t just about me telling people what to do in London – it became a conversation, a way of exchanging stories about the city.
And that’s the part I love most: it’s not just a list of events, but a way of seeing London through many different eyes.
