Most people want restoration without the process.
They want the slate wiped clean, the relationship healed, the weight lifted. But they want it without walking through what actually gets them there.
The process is four movements: Confession. Repentance. Forgiveness. Restoration.
Each one requires something real from you.
You bring the honesty. God brings the mercy.
You don’t have to have it all figured out before you start.
You just have to be willing to say the hard words out loud.
“I was wrong. Please forgive me. I want to change.”
That’s where it begins.
John 1:9 — “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.”
Proverbs 28:13 — “Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.”
James 5:16 — “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”
