5 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Me

1. Hair is in my blood.

I'm a hairstylist. My sister does hair. My dad, aunt, and uncle all did hair. My grandmother had eight siblings and six of them did hair. My great-grandfather came over on a boat from Poland to England at 13 years old, worked at an undertaker's, and then went into barbering. It's been in my family for generations.

2. I went to culinary school and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Food, wellness, and healing have always been a huge part of my life and my work.

3. I hate avocado and bananas.

Yes, really. I know.

4. My husband and I were set up on a blind date.

We're both originally from England. The friend who set us up told me I never gave anyone a real chance and that I had to go out with him three times. She was right.

5. I am extremely organized.

I love when everything is color-coordinated.

One of my favorite pastime is chatting on the phone with I am cleaning and organizing.
