Sadly, last week I had to say goodbye to one of my childhood dogs, Luna.

She was a very large greyhound that my parents rescued from the racetracks in Florida.

To many, she was very intimidating just by her size and how much room she took up. However, once you got to know her, you could see that she was truly the gentlest giant.

Luna taught me that you can be big and take up space and still show so much kindness, love, and compassion.

Being soft doesn't mean you are any less powerful, successful, or important.

Two things opposite in their nature can be true.
