Use a vocabulary notebook

Do you write down new words that you want to learn?

Where do you write them?

I highly recommend writing new words in a vocabulary notebook.

Write the English word plus a definition or translation. Add notes about the pronunciation and grammar. Write an example sentence. Draw a picture if you want to!

And review your new words regularly!

It doesn’t have to be a notebook. You can use file paper if you prefer. 

Yes, you can use your phone but actually writing a word with a pen or pencil is somehow helps you remember it more easily.
