If you're a fashion journalist attending fashion weeks in Paris and Milan year after year, learning at least some French or Italian should be considered part of the job.
Not because pronunciation matters.
Because culture matters.
Fashion constantly talks about "storytelling" and "heritage," yet many of the conversations around European fashion happen entirely through an English-speaking lens.
