Notes

Today I choose to be angry.

Because I am angry—angry at what was unconsciously done to me, angry at what I’ve misguidedly done to others, angry at what we do to each other.

Because anger is fire and fire is needed in the cold of winter.

Because anger is love when felt, centered and turned into wisdom.

Because anger is not agression—aggression is anger avoidance.

Because I'm suffocating, trying to please those I don't love.

Because it serves no one when I say Yes to what I want to scream No to, and then cannot say Yes to what I'm meant to SING yes to.

Because if you don't want my wounds, you don't get my joy.

Because when there is no darkness, there is no stars.

Because there is nothing to fear from my anger, because my anger is not meant to hurt you—it's only here to wake ME up.

Because anger is love and if we could all feel our anger and turn it into words, instead of repressing it and let it lead our behaviors, the world would not only change, it would transform… it would turn back into Heaven—because anger is love.

Anger says you will not invalidate my needs because my needs are how I keep my heart open, and with a world of open hearts, we could recreate a world anchored in love.

Today I choose to be angry, to be moved, burned, turned into ashes.

Today I await and welcome my inner phoenix.

Today I choose to be angry because today I choose to be free. Free to be angry, free to be me, free to just be.

Today I choose to be angry and finally be me.

Will you join me?
