Also in Oxford: this beautiful 3D printed model of the ‘Castillo de Kafka’ by Catalonian architect Ricardo Bofill—a massive 90 modular unit apartment bloc outside of Barcelona, inspired by Kafka’s last novel. In fact, it is believed that he himself took inspiration from Prague Castle, but also Schloss Friedland, a castle he visited on one of his business trips. That castle is to be found in northern Bohemia (Czechia), perched over a small town, near the border with Poland and Germany.
