There’s not a better word for who Emily TK has been to our family than angel, not in a supernatural sense, but in the very real sense of someone who shows up unexpectedly and sticks it out.

Before parenting a neurodivergent child, I had no idea how punishing and demoralizing that system can be, or how powerless and terrified parents often feel inside it. Emily understands that terrain because she meets children and families where they actually are, not where they "should" be.
