This “Good Moms Say Bad Words” decal was a Mother’s Day gift from my sister. I knew it had to be with me every day. What I didn’t expect was how many connections this open confession would bring me in all the places I sip my tea. Sometimes a nod or chuckle, sometimes just a few words or, “I have that on a T-shirt!”
Other times it generates great conversations with fellow spicy moms whom I otherwise would not have had the pleasure with my somewhat introverted and socially awkward ways…
It’s got me thinking, what other personal declarations could I reveal via decal to break the ice and attract like-minded people?
Decals are not a new thing, but which ones actually spark conversation?
💧 Zoom meetings make me sweat
🧶 I’d rather be crocheting
🐾 My dog is my therapist
What would your decal confession say?
I don’t think my sister realized all that she was tucking into that Mother’s Day card, but I am grateful for it and the ripple of connected moments it continues to bring my way.
